Sierra Ridge serves Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grades. School starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 2:45 PM.

 

Sierra Ridge Mission Statement

We value the worth of each individual and every student’s need to acquire confidence and self-assurance through educational and social success. Programs that are in place, and programs that are planned for implementation in the future, are designed to provide learning experiences for all students to:

• Build higher feelings of self-worth and self-esteem
• Instill a need to acquire mastery of knowledge and skills
• Develop critical thinkers and independent learners
• Prepare students for future challenges of high school and beyond
• Inspire a life-long love of learning
• Develop a compassion for life and nature
• Encourage students to develop a higher social conscience and commitment to make our world a better place

 

In 2005 and 2011, Sierra Ridge Middle School was named a California Distinguished School.
