Sierra Ridge Middle School is a California Distinguished School nestled in the Sierra Nevada at an elevation of 4,000 ft. We are  50 miles east of Sacramento and 45 miles west of Lake Tahoe, just off US Highway 50. We currently host grades 5 through 8.

In 2005 and 2011 we earned the designation of a California Distinguished School.
